I’m Rosa, an Accredited Social Worker with professional interest in working with families. I’ve worked across Perth community services since 2012, primarily in mental health, disability, and children’s services. After starting my own family, I moved into private practice in 2022.
My work has been varied, but I feel most engaged when I’m able to work alongside people and families over time—building trust, hearing their stories, and supporting change at a pace that feels right for them. Being invited into family systems, especially when families are experiencing loss, isolation, or disconnection, is something I hold with deep care and respect. It’s a privilege I never take lightly.
I’m an ongoing and curious learner, and I continue to build my practice through evidenced based training and have completed several focused psychological strategies including EMDR, ACT, Schema Therapy, and Play Therapy, alongside family systems and relationship therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming behaviour support. I engage in regular supervision to ensure my practice remains reflective, ethical, and supportive.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me at the beach with my family. I enjoy long walks, eating out, and a good podcast—particularly when it aligns with my current interest. And yes, reality TV is absolutely my guilty pleasure.
